The climate, Antartica is 30 degrees colder than artic. In contrast, near the North Pole monthly mean temperature often rise above freezing
At both poles, daily temperatures may drop far below the monthly mean. At the America South Pole station, winter temperatures sometimes below -100 degrees fahrenheit even lower temperature are recorded until -127 degrees fahrenheit. It the world record low temperature.
The land anilmals and plants of two region are very different . On the Antartica there are very few plants, in artic there are many plant. In some of few ice free areas in Antartica are found mosses, lichens, and algae. The land anilams in artic are foxes, bears, reindeer, and lemmings, these animal is un known in Antartica. Old rocak layers shows that this oppositeness between north and south extend far back into the early chapters of earts history
More then 4.5 millions square miles of ice sheet cover Antartica. Antartica is shorehouse of 85 percent of the total world supply of ice.
The icecap is very thick, nearly 8000 feet. At one spot, scientists have found the distane from the surface to the rock underneath the ice to be more than 13.000 feet.So if the great volume ice were to melt, the volume of the world oceans would increase

Sir Isaac Newton

Newton worked in many scientific problem. His best writen book is Principia that explained his low of universal gravitation. He is famous for his devolepment of the low motion he also discoveries about optics and the nature of color, his exsperiment and writings on astronomy, chemistry, logic and invented diferential and integral calculus.

Newton was born in England in 1642. He began study in Trinity College Chambridge University. In 1665 when the plague struck England Newton returned home. In Woolsthorpe next few years were the most productive in Newton life. In 1682 his book Principia not publish. Honor of his work, he was made director of the English Mint in 1699. Newton died in 1727 and his buried in Westminster Abbey.
Newton did his the best work in 1665 until 1668. Many Historians and Scientists have wonderd how to produce many brilliant ideas in short time. Popular belief says that a falling apple give Newton the idea of the low of universal gravitation.

The “Green Revolution”

From 1950 – 1980 , the so called “Green Revolution”. World food production doubled with approach to algiculture that involved cultivation new type of grain extensive use of chamical and farm machinery

Green Revolution cause enormouse success but , it methods no loger appear to be successful the population continues to grow and foot production has failed to keep up with it. There are a number of reason. Expense of new methods.The new grain is more expensive than traditional one, chemical fertilizer, insectisides and watering system are expensive that can’t aford by farmers

Erosion is another resson, a single crop need perfect conditions for erotion. Grain production has been limited by the lack te water. Effec of more chemical feltilizer and insectisides cause water polution and health problem.

Finally, green revolution has brought problem about social and political. Only the larger landowner can afoord the cost of new methode. Large landowner become ever rich and landless become poor. Social tensions naturally increase in this situation. Government and farmers need find new methode to better situation.
